A fun and simple way to add storage space to a child’s room, this Toy Chest & Bench features a safe, sturdy design, a handy bench perfect for reading or tying shoes and, of course, plenty of room for toys inside.
Our Toy Chest & Bench kit includes 21 board feet of hand-selected oak along with a U-Bild plan to show you how to "trace, cut and assemble." The project requires just six pieces in all and includes full-size patterns for all the curves. To build, simply trace the pieces, cut everything out, sand and assemble with glue and nails. Finish with nontoxic paint and decorate with stencils or decals, or personalize the project with the child’s name.
The toy chest and bench measures about 32 inches long by 17 inches deep by 24 inches tall (at the back) and can be mounted on casters for easy mobility.
