OVERALL GOOD BUT COULD BE IMPROVED 12/8/2017

I will start by saying I have yet to mix any concrete with this unit.

With a 55 gallon drum in mid I expected the mixing drum to be a little bigger.

The item arrived pretty quick and it was handy for me that I had the option of picking it up at a local LTL freight terminal in the morning before work rather than have an 18 wheeler trying to back in my drive way and also avoiding a possible "lift gate fee"

It only took a few hours to assemble and it had no missing parts and none were "damaged"

    Pros:

It does work/rotate and is bigger than most other electric cement mixers available from like Harbor Freight Tools.

    Cons:

The plastic wheels which going by the weight are not "solid plastic" look like it will not be "if" but "when" they fail. and due to the odd size of the shaft, slightly over 1 inch, probably metric can not be easily replaced with a "flat free tire" that has steel bearings.

A lite duty tow hitch would make it easier to move around the job site with a Bobcat or what ever. I will probably fabricate one but it would be nice if I did not have to.

Unless you have long arms and/or a helper it is "difficult' to install the mixing arms inside the mixing drum which must be assembled first due to the fact that are "one piece" and bolt to both halves. Possible solutions would be that the drum comes assembled with the mixing arms installed which would require a some what larger but still not big box and you would for sure need a helper to put it in place or use some type of hoist. The mixing arms are 2 pieces that one person can easily bolt to each half before the halves are bolted together.

The mechanism to tilt the mixer is difficult compared to others I have used. The mixer is very nice. And quiet.
    Good size!
