Most acoustic guitars are over 15" in width at the lower bout (lower part of the guitar). Thus, most guitars have bookmarched sets as a back. Quite often, an accent strip is applied along the center of the back to beautify the instrument as well as "cover" up the seam. Our backstrips are .120" thick so that you glue the backs on either side of the strip and don't have to inlay the strip with a router. Plus, we give you enough length so that you can use a short matching piece for the bottom strip (where the bottoms of the sides meet). We also offer 3 models that have matching purflings! Made here in the USA under strict quality control.
