This machine has made my hobby life much more enjoyable. From ease of use to all the accessories, it is exactly what I needed.
I would give this sander 4.5 out of five stars. I am a retired Shop Teacher so I have been around a lot of tools, many of them Grizzly. This machine has plenty of power, excellent assortment of drum sizes, and the exhaust port designed for a 2" vacuum really works. My only issue with this machine is the tightening of the crush sleeves on the spindle. The knob on the top of the spindle is to small to get enough pressure to secure the sanding sleeves to the rubber spindles. In addition to that there is no way to hold the spindle secure while getting enough pressure on the left hand nut.
Operates well, very pleased with all my Grizzly equipment.
Did a lot of research on other oscillating sanders, after purchasing the Grizzly I know now that I made the right choice!!
Very stable and quiet sander with a wide selections of drum sizes. Ships with a rather fine grit on all drums. More course grits (separate purchase) are essential to make it a versatile shop tool.
When I received this machine I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the machine. It has a very nice machined top with built in holders for all attachments. The slower oscillation produces a very smooth finish. Great for fine woodworking needs.
Seems to be a quality sander, although I haven't used it that much to date. One curious feature is that the motor is slow to rev up to operating speed. Don't know if that's particular to my unit or to all sanders. Over all a much better unit than the Delta it replaced.
Bought this sander to help with my curved projects, and man has it helped!\r\n\r\nGood power, smooth strokes, great table top, and easy to operate!\r\n\r\nEasy to move around and store out of the way.\r\n\r\nThis was my 3rd Grizzly purchase and it won't be my last!
I love the way the various parts for all the different sized spindles are stored and readily available. Changing spindles and drums is simple and requires no tools. Awesome!
