This replaced a 30 year old Craftsman, an old friend, but it alway suffered from excessive vibration. Due to the weight of this machine and the cast iron wheels, the Grizzly exhibits almost no vibration. The fence does not shift once it is locked in place. The tension release lever makes it easy to remember to do that after each use. The 10 inch resaw capacity allows me to prepare larger blanks for wood turning. The 3/4 inch blade capacity is more than adequate for preparing green wood bowl blanks, and the motor has plenty of power to get through 6 and 7 inch blanks. When my dust collector is attached to the dust port, there is almost no dust left in cabinet. \r\n\r\nBecause I can't easily see the lower blade guides, I find adjusting them to be awkward. When I raise or lower the upper guide post, I find I have to adjust the guides. A table extension on the right side would be helpful in balalncing large bowl blanks when cutting those to a round footprint.\r\n\r\nBefore placing the order I shopped around, and at this point I believe I could not have bought a saw that better meets my needs.
