Made to demanding specifications, these motors offer the same quality as the motors we install on our heavy-duty machines. All our motors are standard NEMA 56 frames and fit over 90% of the woodworking machinery on the market. If you have applications where dust, oil, chips or other foreign particles are the norm rather than the exception, you should use these Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled Motors (Enclosed). Motors are dual voltage (110/220V) capacitor start. They feature standard NEMA 56 frames, all ball bearing construction, reversible rotation, 5/8" shafts, and are rated for continuous duty. Not for air compressor use.

I needed a new motor for my Band Saw, This one is a BEAST!!! I have not yet been able to bog it down. I put a 6" tiser on a 14 " saw and promptly burnt up the old 3/4 HP motor on it. I replaced it with this 1-1/2 HP Grizzly and, WOW, what a difference!!!

Open frame delta 14” motor swap 11/11/2017

On an open frame 14 delta I had to radius the front leg support/top base brace. After that and a quick swap of the wires to reverse rotation I was in business. I wish I did this swap a long time ago! The saw is s beast with this motor !
If you can handle those to things I would definitely recommend it.

good product 11/2/2017

Works fine in my Delta 14 inch bandsaw. I had to modify the belt guard and use a longer belt but it all worked out.

Bought this to replace a failed motor on an old Enco lathe. Drilled 4 holes, connected 3 wires, works like a charm, and more power than the original. I did have to buy a sleeve to space the old pulley to the shaft, but apparently nobody uses the same shaft dia as the old Enco anymore in this size motor

As advertised.
First motor arrived damaged; it was promptly replaced with no drama.
Second motor - minor shipping damage; replacement parts sent promptly.
