Spiral cutterheads reduce tearout and leave a finish that is second-to-none. Our Spiral Cutterheads have 9 spirals, which results in an incredible finish in even the most highly figured woods! Each indexable solid-carbide insert has 4 cutting edges, so you essentially get 4 cutters for the price of one. This results in a huge savings over conventional carbide cutters with both decreased replacement cost and minimized down time. If any of the inserts get chipped or become dull, simply rotate them 90° for a fresh, sharp cutting edge! The solid carbide inserts we use are extra thick and heavy-duty.
