Upgrade your Grizzly G1018 or G0500 style 8" jointer to a smoother cutting three-blade Spiral Cutterhead jointer. The spiral blade configuration converts normal rotary motion to a side shearing motion, which provides excellent results on dense hardwoods and highly figured wood. However, results maybe vary on softwoods, particularly softwoods with higher moisture content. Indexed blades make blade changing a snap and ensure uniformity within all three blades. The 8" Spiral Blade Cutterhead includes: spiral blades, gibs, bearing blocks, cast iron pulley, all mounting hardware and T-handle gib wrench. Simply swap out with your standard equipment cutterhead.
