This Welding Fume Extractor has a unique paper filter on a roll that captures oil mist present in welding smoke. This oil would otherwise contaminate the pleated cartridge filter causing a dramatic decrease in efficiency until the pleated filter is replaced. Once replaced, the cycle would begin again. In this case, the paper filter continuously captures the oil so maximum CFM is maintained. Each filter stage is electronically monitored by a manometer,which vibrates solids from the pleated filter and advances the paper filter. The 8' suction boom with parabolic intake hood captures fumes right at the source. Designed to be used with the G0650 Downdraft/Grinding Table, a 5" gated tee can also be connected to provide downdraft air flow.
