Works really good.

This punch is a beast. I am using it to punch .063 and .080 aluminum. It takes little effort to punch through the aluminum. The punch came with a 1/2" die, I ordered the 3/8" as well, replacement couldn't be any easier. Only cons I have found so far is on the light aluminum, after punching the hole, when you lift the handle pulling the die out of the work piece, it bends the aluminum up, or creates a dome, as it pulls out. My solution was to place a piece of steel on top of the aluminum with a slightly bigger hole. When the die pulls out, it can't bend the aluminum because of the steel backer. The adjustable back stop could be a little heavier as it moves when punching, causing you to double check hole placement out of fear that it moved. Also, the table could be bigger, when handling a 2'x3' piece, running the handle and trying to hold your work piece in place, can be difficult. I plan to build a table around the punch flush with the die surface. Overall very happy with the product.

Beast of a machine!

I bought this machine about a year ago and just left it sitting around in the garage. A week or two ago, I pulled it out of the mothballs and gave it a whirl. I was an idiot for not using this thing sooner. It's a beast on the 1/8" steel that I've been using. What a massive time saver.
