Built in the South Bend tradition for speed, accuracy, and absolute high quality, the Heavy 13® lathes feature easy-to-use spindle speed controls, conveniently-located control panel, flood coolant system, micrometer stop, feed clutch rod, safety foot brake, safety chuck guard with shut-off microswitch, and a fully-enclosed quick-change gearbox. Also featured on these precision lathes are Japanese spindle bearings, Allen-Bradley® controls, precision hardened and ground gears, and the signature South Bend three V-way bed made with Meehanite® castings. Includes chucks and other accessories to quickly get you up and running.
