These boring/threading bars allow you to thread internally right up to a shoulder or blind hole when a tap is not available. Right hand threads are generated from the inside to the outside while left hand threads start from the outside and cut in with the spindle in reverse. Be sure to purchase the correct inserts for cutting left or right handed threads. Not for use on lathes with threaded spindles. Inserts not included.
