Made to demanding specifications, these motors offer the same quality as the motors we install on our heavy-duty machines. All our motors are standard NEMA 56 frames and fit over 90% of the woodworking machinery on the market. If you have applications where dust, oil, chips or other foreign particles are the norm rather than the exception, you should use these Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled Motors (Enclosed). Motors are dual voltage (110/220V) capacitor start. They feature standard NEMA 56 frames, all ball bearing construction, reversible rotation, 5/8" shafts, and are rated for continuous duty.

Specifications:

  • Type: Enclosed
  • Size: 1HP
  • RPM: 3450
  • AMPS @ 110V/220V: 12.6A/6.3A
  • Reversible rotation

I bought this motor to retrofit to a 20-year old exhaust fan in a greenhouse. With slight modifications to the mount, it fit and has operated as intended. It will be running in hot and dusty conditions for long hours during the growing. I expect it to perform well, and hopefully for many years.

And thank you for the prompt delivery!

I finally got the chance to try this new motor out. It performed extremely well. Would recommend to anyone who is shopping for motors.

Mounted to vintage Craftsman Table Saw
5/ 5stars

I have a late 50's or early 60's Craftsman saw (113.27610). The original craftsman motor started tripping the fuse, one of the windings had shorted so it was trash. The motor hangs off the back and this provides the belt tension. This motor mounted fine and I didn't need to drill any holes. I did need to buy shorter bolts for the bottom mount, and needed a 40 inch belt, though a 41 inch belt might have worked. The motor sits about an inch closer to the base, hence the need for a belt less than the standard 43" belt. This motor seems well built and works well.

Good Buy Decision

Motor is mounted to my old Sears table saw, some 30 years old. The original motor bracket was removed and this motor bolted right up to the saw's base bracket. Couldn't be happier. It is a much better motor than the 30 year old model.

Great Motor!

Used to replace the motor on my 1950's vintage Rockwell Delta Homecraft table saw.

Good value for the money.

I was very hesitate to buy this and put it on a 50 year old craftsman jointer, I didn't care much for the country of origin but I must say in the short time I have had it in use I have no complaints, plenty of power, doesn't stall, even a full width cut on walnut, or ash.

Great replacement motor for an old Craftsman table saw
5/ 5stars

I was looking for a motor to replace one that died on my old (30-35 years old) Craftsman table saw. Craftsman no longer makes this motor and the repair places would not take it as they said they did not have the parts to make repair. After searching the internet and comparing the Grizzly 1 hp 3450 rpm motor to local places, I found the cost was lower for the Grizzly motor (even including shipping) than I could buy it locally. The motor arrived in two days. I put the Grizzly motor on my old table saw and it has much more power than my old motor did and it is far heavier than the old motor. I have used the table saw on numerous occasions with the new Grizzly motor and it works just fine. I am very happy with the performance of this Grizzly motor and find it to be an excellent replacement for my old Craftsman motor and the cost was better than any other I found on the internet.

Excellent Motor

This is the motor I needed for my Delta tablesaw when the original factory motor died after 50 years of use.
I like that this motor was easy to convert it to 220 volt operation. It starts smoothly and has plenty of power. It was delivered within a few days after I placed the order.
