H8103 Vertical Stirling Engine Kit
Description
This vertically configured Stirling Engine operates in the same way as the kit to the left - by converting heat energy into mechanical motion. The Stirling engine was originally developed as a safer alternative to high pressure steam engine boilers. This working model is powered by a clean burning alcohol burner.
This kit includes the castings and raw parts needed to build the kit above. Parts must be machined on a mill with basic tooling to complete the kit. This is a great project for the beginning machinist. Hardware (nuts, screws and washers) not included.
