Finally, a barrel alignment fixture for precision chambering of barrels that are too short to be held by an outboard spider on the lathe spindle. Also solves the problem of lathes with long headstocks where standard length barrels can't reach an outboard spider.

Simply hold this unique fixture in a 4-jaw chuck and use any two rings of four brass-tipped set screws to clamp your barrel in place. The middle ring of screws is placed ideally for setting up pistol barrels for chambering. It's like having two 4-jaw chucks to achieve perfect axial alignment of the bore prior to chambering. The fixture is machined with a slot along one side which allows for bolt and bolt face truing. Remington actions can also be trued up in the same fixture.
