T1054 Wild Figure Indian Rosewood
Description
This type of figure is highly sought after by custom builders. Sometimes referred to as "landscape figure" it was a very popular figure in Brazillian Rosewood before it was declared endangered and became mostly unavailable. Indian Rosewood is the closest known substitute for Brazilian Rosewood and produces a very warm and clear tone. Our rosewood buyers go to auctions in India and quite often come away empty handed. Only one in a hundred logs produces this type of wild figure and we expect these sets to be in short supply. Each set consists of bookmatched backs and matching color sides. Steelstring sizes only - approximately 21-1/2" x 8-1/2" (2 pcs.) and 32-1/2" x 5" (2 pcs.) and about 3/16" thick. Kiln dried and sanded.
