Overview

Due to restrictions on certain paints and industrial coatings, this item cannot ship to the following states: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Maine, Minnesota, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington DC.

Specially formulated for easy application and a generous working time, Suede-Tex Undercoat Adhesive is colored to complement both nylon and rayon fibers; for example, use black adhesive with black fibers. This will enhance the depth of color of the finish. This self-leveling adhesive can either be applied with a natural bristle brush, rolled on with a 3" roller (1/4" nap), or sprayed on with paint spray equipment (2.0mm orifice recommended). If thinning is necessary use a small amount of mineral spirits. One 8 oz. can covers approximately 25 square feet. Brown color.

Works very well, as advertised 01/27/2017 7:22:28 PM

This past month, I finished up a small jewelry box and used this adhesive to apply the suede-tex to the inside bottom (black). The self flocker worked well also. The only caveat, albeit very minor, was that it was messy while applying. After drying, everything cleaned up well and the resulting surface indeed seems to be durable and shed-free. Just be careful about where/how you apply the adhesive. I taped off the side walls to keep the adhesive free of the side walls, pulled the tape before flocking, and all went well.
