This 4-1/2" Mini Track Saw is one of the most versatile circular saws you’ll ever own.

With the four included blades, it can cut a huge variety of materials. The 20-tooth carbide-tipped blade cuts wood and wood-based material (plywood, MDF, OSB, etc.). The 40-tooth carbide-tipped blade cuts soft metals (aluminum, copper, brass, etc.), melamine panels, and plastics. The abrasive disc cuts steel. The diamond-tipped blade cuts tile, slate, brick, stone, concrete, etc.

An optional 24" track can be purchased for use with this saw. The optional track has a non-slip backing on the underside for secure grip on the workpiece, and the top of the track features a guide rail that fits directly into the grooved saw bottom, allowing the saw to slide smoothly and precisely along the workpiece in a perfectly straight line.

Another awesome feature of this saw is its plunge-cutting action, which allows you to easily make window, electrical, or plumbing cut-outs in panels without having to lift the saw and hold the guard out of the way, such as with a regular circular saw.

Last but not least, this saw is also equipped with a 1-1/2" dust port that connects to a regular shop vacuum to help keep your workspace cleaner.

  • Motor: 120V, 1-1/2 HP, 10A
  • Max. cutting depth @ 90°: 1-1/4" without track, 1-1/16" with track
  • Blade: 4-1/2" x 7/8"
  • Distance between blade and wall: 3/4"
  • Arbor speed: 28,000 RPM
  • Dust port size: 1-1/2"
  • Weight: 7 lbs.

  • Includes 20-tooth carbide-tipped saw blade, 40-tooth carbide-tipped saw blade, diamond saw blade, abrasive disc, and blade changing tools
  • Cam lock anti-kickback protection keys the saw to the track and eliminates any play between the saw and the track
  • Trigger-activated plunge release mechanism for added safety
  • 1-1/2" Swivel dust port for shop vacuum

The Mini Track Saw work great. Never used a plunge cut track saw before. I did not purchase the track. I clamped a straight edge instead. Worked great.

I love the saw especially on small projects, it beats hauling the great big heavy worm saw. when might I expect to be able to order the trac system for it Have received no e mail stating yo now have them to order

Using it a lot 11/21/2019 4:32:24 AM

Enjoying this little heavy duty saw. I did not order the track system so I made my own. I used a 3/16" thick "hardboard" about 6 to 7" wide and ripped a 3/4" thick oak board to about 1/4" thick. Then glued it in middle of hardboard. The next day I ran the track saw along the track and cut hardboard both directions and that gives you a cutting edge either direction. I made a 8" and a 4' guide. I installed a wider door in my bathroom and used guide and saw with diamond blade to cut through 1" of plaster- drywall( 1948 house). I used flat head screws to attach guide to wall and also used guide to install a bigger flush mount medicine cabinet(see picture). worked great did not chip the edge much and shop vac hooked to it helped with some of the dust.. I'm now cutting some "pro-panel 26 ga. at 45 angles. Screwing down guide to wood work bench with 2 layers of cardboard under tin so I won't cut bench(see pictures) using fine tooth blade. working great-need eye and ear protection. I always have trouble cutting roofing tin going over the humps but this saw works great. Only cons of saw is the on-off trigger is not made for left handers-takes two hands to start saw and you need to use a guide to cut anything straight.

So far so good 10/13/2017 1:17:45 PM

Bought it without the trac kit. Can I buy an accessory kit? And do the tracs go any longer than 24

Not for everybody 10/05/2017 4:23:11 PM

Hard to use without track. Awkward hand movements will take a lot of practice to become coordinated.

I have not had an opportunity to use this saw yet but it was delivered in a timely manner and appears to be solid and durable. It's a bit heavier than I expected and the track was not included but that was my fault as I did not read the product description closely enough.

Very pleased. 10/05/2017 1:54:37 PM

I'd been looking for a small diameter circular saw for some time when I got a promotional email for this.

I bought this to allow me to cut as close to the end of the cut as possible. I've used it once so far to cut some flooring. Worked very well, though the safety features make adjusting the depth of cut a challenge. I've still not sorted that out. I'll try a combination square as depth gauge next time.

Because it's so small, I found it hard to keep the saw line up working freehand. I plan to make a notch on the rear of the saw to match the one on the front. The blade is completely shrouded in use, so you can't see the blade when cutting. Build quality is excellent.

The first unit had been damaged by UPS. Grizzly sent out a replacement immediately.
