Made to demanding specifications, these motors offer the same quality as the motors we install on our heavy-duty machines. All our motors are standard NEMA 56 frames and fit over 90% of the woodworking machinery on the market. If you have applications where dust, oil, chips or other foreign particles are the norm rather than the exception, you should use these Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled Motors (Enclosed). Motors are dual voltage (110/220V) capacitor start. They feature standard NEMA 56 frames, all ball bearing construction, reversible rotation, 5/8" shafts, and are rated for continuous duty. Not for air compressor use.

So far so good! 04/07/2020 1:08:20 AM

I bought this a month ago to replace the stock 1-1/2 HP motor in my Ridgid contractor table saw (TS-3650, 2005 vintage). So far very happy with the replacement operating at 220 V. Installation was straightforward - no modifications necessary. Note that at 45 degree blade tilt, this motor will be above the plane of the table saw. I knew this before buying from the drawings. No biggie for me, but just keep this in mind if you plan to Frankenstein your saw like this. Looks at least as well built as the OEM Ridgid motor that was still working fine after fifteen years of hard use.

Recently bought this to replace Delta 1 1/2 hp Tablesaw motor. Easy wiring and bolted right in place. Only problem was motor was running in reverse. Easy fix of switching the blue wires. Works great.

No replacement for displacement. 06/15/2018 12:46:07 PM

Upgraded my Craftman table saw from 1to 2HP. What an improvement! Std motor mount and totally enclosed (dust protection) made install easy and better machine all around.

More Power! 08/17/2017 1:09:45 AM

The motor on my table saw burned out and the specs on this Grizzly motor sounded better than the replacement from the saw manufacturer. The wiring instructions were very clear and in no time I had my table saw back in business. This motor is surprisingly quiet and has tons of torque.
