The Grizzly Horizontal Slot Mortiser is a must-have if you build custom furniture, custom cabinetry or produce any kind of woodworking that requires mortise-and-tenon joinery.

The Grizzly Horizontal Slot Mortiser incorporates a router mounted on its side with the work piece clamped to a multi-axis sliding table. Use it to quickly cut mortises for traditional mortise-and-tenon or 'loose tenon' joinery, and easily cut angled mortises—no elaborate jigs and fixtures required!

I purchased this machine to be able to do mortises professionally. It meets my objectives. I would buy it again!

This is just what I needed. 08/22/2018 9:16:46 PM

I have had this machine for several weeks and like it a lot. I have cut a lot of mortises already and it is a pleasure to use. I am currently building chairs and this is working well for this. I don't use the miter fence, it doesn't seem to be very useful. I re-used the miter fence mounting holes for a simple plywood fence/stop block.
