Wood vice 01/16/2019 5:16:58 PM

This vice is heavy, solid and from what I can tell - well made. I have yet to attach it to my work bench but Im sure it will be a good addition.

Impressed with quality. 12/09/2017 9:41:55 PM

Vice is heavy and well made (cast, not stamped or machined). Very smooth after oil is generously applied to traveler threads. I bought two to support longer workpieces. Generous 8 inch jaws when fully opened (shown with 1/2 inch plywood protective pads). Mounting was easy and straightforward. Only problem was that my table doesn't have enough overhang to mount vices snug against the edge, which would have provided a more rigid mount. Good value at full price, great value at sale price.

Great vise for the money 11/19/2015 12:13:50 AM

I'm building a nice workbench for my son and don't have a lot of money to spend on it. I looked all over the internet at new and used vises like this but couldn't find anything that was worth a flip. Then I decided to give this vise a shot. I just got it today, mounted it and checked the operation. I was VERY impressed.

The only problem with this vise is the handle, which seems to be made of fairly mild steel. Other than that, the quality of this vise is all out of proportion to the price. If you're looking for a good 10" vise for not a lot of dough, this baby is the ticket.
