BE1162 Grizzly Woodcarving Vise

A distinctive vise specifically built to safely grip your artistic pieces and heirlooms while carving and cleaning.

The BE1162 Woodcarving Vise has full rotation in two axes and is height adjustable in the third. The tilt adjustment has cast detents for non-slip tilt positioning that lock every 30°. The large lock handle also secures the included dovetail mount (or optional faceplates) as you reposition for height and rotation.

Unique in appearance and design, the Grizzly Woodcarving Vise was created to be equally at home in a wood or metal shop, hobby den, jeweler’s workbench or even a gun room.

A perfect vise for woodcarving projects to pistol cleaning.

Weighing a hefty 10-1/2 lbs., the Woodcarving Vise features a cast-iron base for rock-solid stability. The cast-iron construction means it's built to last with the durability you want. It is arched to let work overhang the edge of a bench when top mounted, giving maximum flexibility of use.

The base has four mounting holes that allow it to be fastened to a workbench or other mounting surface to prevent it from moving during operation and causing accidental injury or damage.

Like all Grizzly vises, the BE1162 comes with a 1-year warranty which covers parts and assures the unit is free from factory defects.

The BE1162 instruction sheet was written by our U.S. based Technical Documentation Department and is packed with useful information.

The Grizzly Customer Service and Technical Support Teams are U.S. based. Parts and accessories for the vise are available on-line and shipped from the Grizzly parts warehouse in Springfield, MO.

FEATURES:

  • Cast-iron base
  • Dovetail mount
  • Two lock knobs
  • Adjustable locking handle

Note: Optional wood accessories include the BE1210 3-1/2" Faceplate and BE1211 2" Faceplate. For certain firearms, you may need a magazine adapter to fit into the mount. See BE1217 for 1911 pistols and BE1222 for SIG P226.
