These fully enclosed CNC fiber laser cutters offer a compact working bed size of 35" x 5". The IPG brand, Ytterbium-clad fiber optics ensure fine beam quality, excellent surface finishes and long service life. Suitable for processing a wide range of metallic and non-metallic sheet goods up to 30mm thick and equipped with a large front access door for efficient loading and unloading of materials. Progress can be monitored through a CE certified protective glass filter in the door front.
Automated beam focus speeds up set-up time and a water-cooled heat sink keeps the collimator and focus lens running cool for long life in high-production environments. The touch screen CNC controls running Panasonic servo motors, TBI ball screws and Hiwin linear guides are capable of maintaining positional accuracies of 0.01mm (0.0005"). Rapid feed rate of up to 40 meters per minute (130 ft./min.) and acceleration of up to 0.5G maximize productivity while the enclosed working area with internal filtration keeps workers safe from laser exposure as well as from the smoke and fumes generated during operation.
To accomplish this level of speed and precision, the frames and beds are fabricated of heavy welded steel plate and tubing while the moving gantry is constructed of aerospace grade extruded aluminum for light weight and rigidity. The Y-axis utilizes a dual ball-screw design, each with twin linear guides to achieve superior positioning accuracy. Without a doubt, these machines are designed from the ground up to produce intricate detail in a production environment.
