Grizzly G0907 - 79" x 157" Fiber Laser 6000W
These larger fully enclosed CNC fiber laser cutters offer a working bed size of 78.7" x 157.5". The IPG brand, Ytterbium-clad fiber optics ensure fine beam quality, excellent surface finishes and long service life. Suitable for processing a wide range of metallic and non-metallic sheet goods up to 40mm thick and equipped with a sliding worktable for efficient loading and unloading of raw stock and finished goods.
Automated beam focus speeds up set-up time and a water-cooled heat sink keeps the collimator and focus lens running cool for long life in high-production environments. The CNC controls running Yaskawa servo motors, TBI ball screws and Hiwin linear guides are capable of maintaining positional accuracies of 0.02mm (0.001"). A maximum feed rate of 120 meters per minute (390 ft./min.) and acceleration of 1.5G for G0906 and G0907, and 200 meters per minute (650 ft./min.) and acceleration of 2.5G for G0918 enhance productivity while the enclosed working area with internal filtration keeps workers safe from the high speed, powerful laser, as well as from the smoke and fumes generated during operation.
To accomplish this level of speed and precision, the frames and beds are fabricated of heavy welded steel plate and tubing while the moving gantry is constructed of aerospace-grade extruded aluminum for light weight and rigidity. Without a doubt, these machines are designed from the ground up to be industry workhorses.
Each model offers the same features and machine design but with a wide variety of power levels—2000W, 6000W, and 12,000W.
