The MCS-EHSL stocks were designed as a compact, lightweight mountain rifle with a barrel up to a Bartlein #3 and a great cheek weld on hunting-style scope.

The grip of the EHSL has a nice palm swell and a dished-out area for the back of your hand which gives you a very comfortable grip while still maintaining the more traditional hunter stock look.

The comb is set to give you optimum height for a hunting-style scope.

The average weight is 27 to 28 ounces depending on the configuration and Pachmayr Decel butt pad selection.

The EHSL was designed around a Remington 700 short action.

The EHSL comes standard with a 100% carbon fiber shell, reinforced in the critical areas with a layer of fiberglass.
