Replacing dust collection bags isn't the most fun you can have in your shop, so why struggle? Check out this quick tip on changing out your bags with a simple and personalized touch! Many dust collectors have fish hook-style connector points that hold the new plastic bag in place before being locked down with a metal strap. While these fish hooks are practical, if you are not careful, they can tear the bags during installation.

One simple solution is to use rare earth magnets to temporarily hold the new bag in place. That is the easy part, but it isn’t very personal.
