G0815 - 15" 3 HP Heavy-Duty Planer
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, we have issued a recall for G0815 15” 3 HP Heavy-Duty Planers purchased on or before November 21, 2025. The chip breaker can contact the cutterhead blades during use, which can cause debris to be ejected from the planer, posing impact and laceration hazards to the user and bystanders. We have received seven reports of the rotating cutters of the planer breaking. No injuries have been reported.
To address this issue and ensure safe operation, we have designed a free repair kit to upgrade your chip breaker adjustment rod with limit stops. Consumers should immediately stop using their machine until the Grizzly-provided repair kit has been received and installed. To recieve the kit, please fill out the repair kit request form at this page.

- Your name, contact information, and shipping address
- The model number of your machine
- The machine's serial number
If your serial number is illegible, a picture of your machine ID label will work in its place. Once registered, we will process your request in the order it was received. If we have your email on file, an order confirmation will be sent along with tracking information when available.

W1758 - Shop Fox 16" x 46" 2 HP Variable-Speed Wood Lathe
Grizzly Industrial is coordinating with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) to recall select parts of the Grizzly G0584 and G0462 Wood Lathes and Shop Fox W1758. The faceplates and tool rest holders have the potential to fracture when used under excessive force.
Please discontinue the sale of these lathes immediately. We urge consumers to cease using the machines until replacement parts and instructions from Grizzly Industrial are received. All known purchasers will be contacted directly.
