The Porter-Cable 7424 6-inch variable-speed random orbit polisher gets the job done with an efficient random, swirl-free polishing action. The 7424 is powered by a 4 Amp motor that spins at variable-speeds of 2,500-6,000 OPM for a custom polishing job depending upon the power needed. Includes a 5" proprietary counter balance for use with 6" sanding/polishing pad and accepts 5/16 - 24 spindle thread accessories. The polisher features an ergonomically-designed handle that helps to increase leverage and also promotes a comfortable position while polishing; the handle can also be repositioned to work either left or right handed. The 7424 model uses a spiral/bevel gear configuration that is very efficient and ensures reliable performance for year to come.
