T24974 5/8" x 6" 5-Piece Boring Bar Set with 4 Carbide Inserts

A five-piece set for precision boring.

The geometry of the T24974 Boring Bar Set is designed to allow straight boring to a shoulder, as well as internal facing cuts.

This boring bar uses CCMT inserts.

A very versatile boring bar with a useful for a large range of applications including boring, facing, and internal profiling.

The insert pockets are cut for a tight fit and the -5° cutter profile is fully supported.

Four CCMT 060204 inserts are included. The T20669 Carbide Inserts for steel, stainless, and cast-iron, T20668 Carbide Inserts for cast-iron and aluminum, T10241 Carbide Inserts for steel, stainless, and cast-iron, and H5682 Carbide Inserts for cast-iron are available.

Uses and includes hardened Torx® screw for securing inserts.

The T24974 comes with a 1-year warranty assuring the set is free from factory defects.
