G9761 10-Piece HSS TiN-Coated 2-Flute End Mills Set

A set of long-life titanium nitride-coated 2-flute end mills.

The G9761 10-Piece HSS TiN-Coated Flute End Mills Set is a complete set for removing metal during milling operations.

These two flute, square end mills are used for end milling, side milling, and plunge milling operations.

Flute volume is more with two flute mills, but the feed rates are lower.

The fewer number of flutes allows for better chip evacuation.

TiN coated mills last up to six times longer than uncoated mills. They also run cooler and can be ran at higher speeds than uncoated HHS mills.

HSS (high-speed steel) has been heat treated for hardness and wear resistance, which keeps a sharp edge longer than other carbon steels.

The set is housed in a molded plastic case.
