A set of long-life titanium nitride-coated 4-flute end mills.
The G9762 10-Piece HSS TiN-Coated Flute End Mills Set is a complete set for removing metal during milling operations.
These 4-flute, square end mills are used for end milling, side milling, and plunge milling operations.
Flute volume is less with four flute mills, but the feed rate can be higher than two flutes.
TiN coated mills last up to six times longer than uncoated mills. They also run cooler and can be ran at higher speeds than uncoated HHS mills.
HSS (high-speed steel) has been heat treated for hardness and wear resistance, which keeps a sharp edge longer than other carbon steels.
The set is housed in a molded plastic case.
Like all Grizzly end mills, the G9762 comes with a 1-year warranty which assures the set is free from factory defects.
