The H7939 3-Piece HSS Turning Tool Set is an entry-level collection of turning tools and all you need to start turning wood.
The 1/2" HSS Spindle Gouge are ideal for making spindles. This is a detailing tool used to create coves, beads, and other profiles on goblets, vases, bed posts, candle stick holders, and other spindle projects.
The 9/16" HSS Double Bevel Skew has great maneuverability for cleaning flat surfaces, reaching inside corners and other tight spaces.
The 9/16" HSS Parting Tool is used to part the finished project off from the waste material. It also makes for a fine detailing tool, e.g. beads and fillets.
HSS (high-speed steel) has been heat treated for hardness and wear resistance, which keeps a sharp edge longer than other carbon steels.
