Kerfing is one of the most critical componenets of the body on an acoustic guitar. You glue the kerfing to the edge of the bent sides and then glue the soundboard and back to the flat, exposed portion of the kerfing. This completes the "box' construction of the body. You then apply your binding on the sides to hide the side joint and apply purfling on the top to hide the binding joint. We carry the 6 best selling versions that numerous plants as well as custom builders use. You need four pieces per guitar. Each piece is 32" long.
