The step point design provides 45% faster cuts and keeps the bits sharp up to four times longer than traditional bits. And with this design, there is no need for pilot holes!

These specialized bits are made of M35 HSS alloy containing 5% cobalt, allowing increased hardness compared to regular HSS (high-speed steel) drill bits. This hardness helps maintain the cutting-edge sharpness and extends the lifespan of the drill bits.

Additionally, the 5% cobalt enhances the drill bits' heat resistance, allowing them to withstand higher temperatures during drilling. This is particularly beneficial when drilling into tough and hard materials.

Each of these step point drill bits are the ideal "jobber" length for almost every application, so you can keep going on every project without needing to search for other sizes.
