T33236 52" DRO for SawStop Table Saws
A DRO that displays the exact distance from the blade.
This digital readout (DRO) from iGaging is used for precision measuring on saw fences up to 52" in width.
The large numerical display is easy to read and provides a precise reading of the fence location in either decimal inch, fractional inch, or millimeters.
Unlike a fixed rule, you can calibrate the DRO for different blade and dado thicknesses.
Installation requires removing the cursor on your existing fence and mounting this unit in the same mounting holes. No drilling or modification is needed.
A new self-stick rule will need to be placed over the existing rule. The new rule reads in both inches and metric, but embedded in the new rule are sensors that run along its length. The sensors allow the DRO to read its exact positioning anywhere on the rule.
An internal CR2032 battery provides power to the unit. It can also be powered by an optional external rechargeable battery bank (not included) via a micro-USB cord (provided).
The DRO can be calibrated in two ways: using the built-in 2" preset or manually entering a measurement in.
Recalibration is only required when either the blade or the battery has been changed.
