The T28534 Micro Jig GRR-RIPPER Complete System It will allow you to cut with surgical precision and handle small work material with safety and control. The powerful grip gives you commanding hold of your work. The treaded surface grips all the major wood species, plastics, and aluminum.
It is recommended to use two GRR-RIPPERs when cutting stock longer than your table saw, jointer, shaper, or bandsaw top. With two GRR-RIPPERs, you can feed stock continuously using the hand-over-hand method, which results in a better cut quality.
Three directions of force provide essential stability for superior precision, safety, and control.
- Downward pressure stabilizes work piece on a flat surface.
- Inward pressure against the fence virtually eliminates kickback.
- Forward pressure feeds stock consistently through the cut to eliminate burning and blade marks.
The stabilizing plate provides 250% more stabilizing surface because of the two additional points of contact. They keep the workpiece locked tight to the fence and parallel to the blade, while the optional hook pushes it through the cut from behind.
The gravity heel kit includes five dynamic sacrificial heels and mounting hardware. They automatically retract mid-board and drop down to hook the tail end of the workpiece. The specially formulated plastic material allows them to be cut, providing support to prevent tearout.
Excellent for edge banding or decorative inlays, the 1/8" leg allows the ripping of thin strips down to 1/8", safely and repeatably.
The handle bridges distribute downward pressure evenly for greater control and safer cuts.
The adjustable spacer provides 54% more gripping surface for controlling larger workpieces. Adjustment slots provide clearance for exposed router bits while maintaining a flat edge on the fence
The deflector/connector acts as a barrier between your hands and spinning blades while deflecting chips and debris. It also connects to GRR-RIPPERs equipped with handle bridges. The use of two GRR-RIPPERs at the same time means twice the control while working with larger workpieces.
