G1994 93-1/2" x 5/8" x .025" x 3 TPI Hook Carbide-Embedded Bandsaw Blade

A premium 93-1/2" carbide hook blade for ripping boards to size.

These steel blades have carbide teeth which will cut faster and stay sharp the longest of all the blades available. The razor-sharp teeth have been precision-ground and the carbide tips are brazed into the pockets. The carbide tip is stronger and can resist more heat than non-carbide blades.

Width is an important factor when considering a new blade. The typical range is as small as 1/8" wide to 3/4" wide. This 5/8" wide blade is good for contour sawing with a minimum radius of 4". For resaw cutting, you will want to fit the widest blade available for your machine.

Typically, there are more teeth per inch for narrower blades compared to wider blades. We sell hook blades in 3, 4, and 6 TPI versions. This means the 3 TPI cut slower than both the 3 TPI and 6 TPI blades.

The flex back blade helps with absorbing the stresses of cutting curves. It is heat-treated at the teeth, leaving the back with more flexibility for movement through the material.

The 93-1/2" length blade fits 14" bandsaws that do not have a riser block installed. If you do have a riser installed, use 105" bandsaw blades instead.

Choosing the correct blade for your 14" bandsaw can seem like a helpless task. Using the incorrect blade can dramatically affect your bandsaw’s operation. With this explanation, the factors you would select the 93-1/2" G5152 Bandsaw Blade should make total sense for your needs.
