T33986 Hardness Tester

A simple design for sensitive, accurate hardness testing on assorted metals.

The T33986 Hardness Tester measures Rockwell hardness values of hard and soft metals and alloys, whether flat, round, or irregularly shaped. An essential tool for schools, laboratories, tool rooms, and inspection departments that require precise material measurements. By learning a material's hardness value, you can determine if it is strong and durable enough to withstand its usage demands.

Different indenters and loads can be selected with the tester, and the hardness values can be measured over three Rockwell scales: A, B, and C.

Scale A is used to measure dense metallic materials such as carbides, hard alloys, and surface-hardened parts.

Scale B is used to measure lower hardness materials such as non-ferrous metals and annealed steel.

Scale C is used to measure materials that have been quenched or tempered.

This hardness tester conforms to IS 3804-1966 and BS: 891-1962 Part I and Part II for Rockwell tests.
