The Nebula’s innovative, computerized system and DVR (digital variable reluctance technology deliver the ultimate in smooth performance, intelligent control, and power under load.
The direct-drive motor powers the spindle from 50 to 4000 RPM at the twist of a knob.
There are eight customizable speed settings for presetting your favorite speeds.
There is even a 50 RPM “slow-drying” mode for applying finish without flinging it out into the workshop.
There are three ramp speed settings based on each project’s needs: quick, moderate, and slow.
The computerized system monitors motor conditions and varies power based on need. This can save up to 80% of power compared to other lathes.
The headstock pivots 360° with 6 detents and can be positioned anywhere along the bed. This provides unlimited potential for virtually any turning project.
For safety and convenience, there is an adjustable electronic brake for stopping the spindle. You can set this for hard or soft stopping, depending on your needs.
