I just bought this sharpener. I had figured that I would wait a little while to post a review, to see how it shakes out. I had a hard time finding anything on it, so I definitely wanted to do a review. But, I am so impressed with it, I decided to go ahead. I do a lot of drilling- 40+ (sometimes well over 100) holes a day through 1/2" cold rolled steel, 5 days a week. I needed good bits, all the time. So, I bought a Drill Doctor. The reason- the wide difference in prices between a Drill Doctor and other machines. I've mastered the DD, and sharpened a LOT of bits with it over the last 3 years. It worked, but it took a lot to get the trick, and it doesn't sharpen them as well as I really needed- they have never been better than a new bit, but close. I came to the decision to buy something better, and started the search. I've bought other tools from Grizzly, and have been very happy. I looked at the H8203, as well as some other brands (considerably more expensive). I went for the Grizzly, because of my experiences with my other purchases. It arrived 6 days ago. I went through the manual, and set up the H8203. It wasn't bad, because I was so familiar with the DD. I sharpened the first bit, figuring that there was going to be a learning curve (based on how long it took to master the DD). Tried out that first 3/8" bit through some 3/8" steel, and man! It was better than a new bit. It cut faster, didn't walk, and that was on the first one! I've since sharpened about 10 bits or so, in different sizes. The quality and consistency is leaps and bounds better than the DD, and the bit cuts better than a new one. That's why I decided to write a review so soon- I am so enthusiastic and impressed with it. It is heavy, and exudes quality. I expect to get many years of service out of it, and that it will pay for itself in short order. It was easy to set up, simple to figure out, and I can sharpen a bit in less than a minute. It exceeds what I was expecting.
