The Bessey light-duty, TJG-style 18" Tradesmen clamps are designed with an hourglass-shaped bar that minimizes the flexing or bending common with flat bar rails.

Tremendous 600 pounds of clamping power is achieved because of the three serrated surfaces around each edge of the rail.

A set screw is permanently molded into a malleable cast-iron sliding arm.

Interlocking the serrations of the profiled rail with the set screw in the sliding arm eliminates slippage.

The drawn rail is zinc-finished to prevent black marks from appearing on wood.

The fixed and swivel clamping pads have removable plastic cover that prevents marring wood workpieces.

The comfortable and ergonomic composite handle allows for smooth and fast turning of the Acme thread.
