T33023 Dasqua Five-Piece Woodworking Set
A great introductory set of woodworking tools.
The five-piece T33023 Woodworking Set from Dasqua has a little bit of everything for marking and measuring.
The 10" try square is used for marking and checking 90° angles on workpieces. Metric and imperial graduations are laser-etched in mm and 1/16". The body is made from high-grade black anodized aluminum with a sandblasted finish and coated with a protective anti-rust coating.
The multi-gauge includes a taper gauge that allows you to dimension recesses of parts. Checking the pitch of threaded screws from 10-40TPI is a cinch. The diameter of the thread can be checked as well from #5–#12 and 1/4"–5/8" in 1/16" increments, plus 3/4". On the side of the multi-gauge, one can check the length of the thread of a bolt. A wire gauge can help you determine wire, washer, and sheet metal sizing from #3–#24 and .03"–.035". Marking holes from 15°–60° in 15° increments can be used to quickly layout lines.
The easy-to-read white face of the 6" dial caliper features .001" graduations, hardened and ground stainless steel main beam with hardened, ground and lapped measuring faces. A knurled thumb roll and 360° adjustable bezel makes inside, outside, depth, and step measurements quick and precise.
The center punch produces a center mark by simply pressing the handle down. The depth of the mark is controlled by adjusting the cap screw.
The carbide scribe clearly marks on hardened steel, glass, and ceramics. A permanent magnet on the head is handy for picking up small parts.
