T31989 13-Piece M35 Cobalt Silver & Deming Drill Bit Set W/ Aluminum Case

Silver and Deming drill bits are large size drill bits with reduced shanks.

You’ll want the 13-piece Silver & Deming drill bit set for when the hole you need to drill is larger than the diameter of the chuck capacity of your drill.

These bits are made with 5% cobalt and can be used at much higher speeds than HSS drill bits.

This combination is excellent for drilling into very hard and tough materials like stainless steel, hardened steel, cast iron, or titanium.

The stepped drill bit shanks fit 1/2" drill chucks, measure 6" overall in length, and come in a fitted, aluminum case.

The T31989 13-piece set includes bits ranging from 17/32" to 1" in 1/32" increments.

HSS (high-speed steel) has been heat treated for hardness and wear resistance, which keeps a sharp edge longer than other carbon steels.
