Grizzly G8147 55-lb. Anvil

These handsomely finished anvils are a welcome addition to any workshop.

Perfect for flattening or forming a wide range of metals, the brawny cast-iron G8147 55-lb. Anvil is carefully milled and polished to provide exceptionally smooth working surfaces.

These classically-designed anvils have always had a special place in the shops of blacksmiths, farriers, and ironworkers.

Each anvil includes a 7/8" square hardy hole and built-in notches for secure bench attachment.

This 55 pound anvil measures 5-5/8" wide x 14-1/2" long x 6-1/2" high.

The horn is the curved piece for hammering curves and measures 5-1/2" long.

The face is where the majority of hammering takes place. It measures 3-7/8" x 8-5/8" with 7/8" square hardy hole.

The hardy hole is a square hole that allows you to attach additional tools to the anvil.

The slots measure 9/16" wide with 4" width and 6-3/4" length between slots.
