To calibrate the Snap-Check Pro's use the fine adjustment knob. You will be able to set both scale needles to zero and then read your measurements in both decimal inch and fractional inch at the same time. Two moveable markers are present and can be set to record range of movement. This can be used in applications like measuring a saw blades parallelism to the fence. The solid machined aluminum body with strong base magnets provides a solid tool platform, leaving your hands free to make machine adjustments.
