Made with premium silicone carbide abrasive grains, the T33777 600-Grit 2" x 42" Sanding Belts offer fast and efficient cutting action, making them perfect for grinding and shaping metal.
Due to the extreme sharpness, this abrasive grain provides fast stock removal and a cool cut, known as friable in the abrasive industry.
The fine 600-grit is ideal after finish sanding with 400-grit. It is important to sequence your sanding from a lower number to a higher number without bypassing more than one grit. Doing so may not remove the marks from the rougher grit.
The 2" x 42" size is ideal for use on most standard knife grinders–especially on the Grizzly T32459 Belt Knife Grinder.
Within the belt thickness rating system, the X-weight backing that gives the sanding belt its structure is good for general purpose uses.
