The Spindle Brake provides a convenient method of locking the spindle freeing both hands to complete a tool change, which improves productivity while making tool changes easier, faster, and safer. An electro-magnetic interlock disables power to the motor with the fork of the Spindle Brake in the engaged position. The integral flip-style locking fork locks the mill's spindle when engaged and does not require a separate locking device to be mounted and removed from the mill, allowing for one-handed loosening and tightening of tool-less chucks. Made here in the USA, the block and fork are made of 6061-T6511 Aluminum and the plate itself is made of ATP5 tooling plate. Approximate size is 6.75" x 6" x 2", compatible with the Grizzly G0720 and G0720R mills.
