Woodstock G9970 - 14" Bandsaw

After testing this new Shop Fox® Bandsaw, we couldn't resist adding it to our already expanded line. With features like the patent pending Quick Blade Tensioner, formed and welded steel construction, precision ground tables and cabinet type stands make this one of, if not the best bandsaw available today. Comes complete with a quality miter gauge, a fence that locks at both ends, hinged wheel covers and a dust port. To set the blade to its correct tension, release the quick change blade lever, install blade, lock down, and you're done! When you do this for the first time, you would tighten or loosen the fine adjustment knob for the exact tension. After that, blade changes are simple and incredibly fast!

This G9970 14" is equipped with a 1 HP motor which has been designed specifically for this machine and features the extra torque required to get the job done. Uses heavy-duty injection formed aluminum wheels. It is computer balanced assuring smooth running and accurate cuts. The cabinet style stand is sturdier than any of the 4-legged designs, further reducing annoying vibrations while providing convenient storage.
