I was able to purchase my DeWalt scroll saw at a great price. For the cost of the saw itself, I also scored a stand and light, saving me $100. The unit was out of stock when I placed my order, but I was pleasantly surprised when I received notification that the unit was again available in less than two weeks.
The only setback occured when I received the shipping information from Grizzly, and the UPS expected delivery date fell on a date I wouldn't be at home to take delivery. I contacted Grizzly Customer Service via email, and received a call from them the next day. The caller infomed me that changing the delivery date would cost $15 per box, so my three-box order would fetch an additional $45. She said UPS was very strict on shipping estimates, and the only other option was to let UPS attempt delivery, and if they didn't just drop the order and leave it, they would set another delivery date at that time. Facing the prospect of losing my day waiting, or paying the extra $45, I contacted UPS. By signing up for their free MyUPS program, they would change the delivery date for $5/box. They also informed me I could have the shipment delivered to a local UPS center and pick it up there at no additional charge. I was able to get confirmation of the shipment arrival at a local center, and picked it up early in the morning, saving my day. I'm not angry with Grizxly Customer Service, just wish they had been a little more up-to-date re delivery options.
Still happy with my new saw and the deal I got.
