Quietly operate up to two machines with this simple yet highly effective cyclone dust collector with the built-in pleated filter brush system. It's no secret that the key to proper dust collection is allowing your collector to breathe during operating, and the G0852 breathes easy thanks to the two-stage filtration system with 0.3-micron pleated filter. Tiny particles not captured by the cyclone are deposited in the filter, which features a 99.9% filtration rating. And with the turn of the shaker handle, the filer is brushed clean inside, allowing particulate to fall into the clear catch bag. The G0852 is powered by a 1.5HP TEFC motor, and operated at a quiet 78 dB, while maintaining a strong 785 CFM of airflow capacity. Plus, it features four swivel casters for the ultimate in mobility.

Great Dust Collector 06/09/2020 5:24:25 PM

Just got this dust collector the G0852. I can only comment on the assembly for now. It went together pretty quickly and seams to be a well made machine.
The reason I haven't used it yet is that it blows the breaker every time I turn it on. I have it wired at 110v on a 20amp breaker. I think its not really a problem with the machine. I have other things on that circuit and I think this machine requires every bit of juice out of the circuit it can get. Good thing is that it requires no additional parts to rewire for 220v. Its in my garage next to the main breaker box, so I will rewire and run on 220. I will do a new review when it is up and running. Otherwise it would be 5 star.

Update Rewired for 220v. Draws 10.5 amps at 220 volt which is equivalent to 21 amps at 110. There is no household circuit at 110v that could run this unit, that is up to code.

That being said, runs great on 220v. 10.5 amps on startup and 6.5 amps running.
It is quiet compared to other dust collectors I have had. No leaks or vibrations. It really sucks. Stronger than anything I have ever had. I am really happy now that it is running.

Aside from the fact that I couldn't run it on 110v it really is a nice unit for the money.
Strictly speaking at 6.5 amps at 220v that is roughly 1430 watts which is right at 2 horse power.
I think think this unit is closer to 2 HP than 1.5HP..

In any case really nice machine and super easy to convert to 220v. You open up the box on top of the motor and the wiring sequence is right there. Definitely recommend just know that you will be converting to 220v .
